News Merkerson, Waterston, Wong, Austin, Leonhart and Meyers Set for All Write! Benefit Symphony Space will celebrate its free literacy program All Write!, which is available to adult students throughout the five boroughs, with a benefit performance Feb. 8 at the Manhattan venue.

The 7:30 PM performance will feature Sonia Manzano, S. Epatha Merkerson, Isaiah Sheffer, Sam Waterston and B.D. Wong, with musical guests Ivy Austin, Jay Leonhart and Lanny Meyers. The stars of "Law & Order" will read the literacy students’ stories and poems about "arriving in and surviving in New York City, with a couple of Stephen Sondheim songs on the subject providing some musical spice," according to press notes. Ivy Austin will sing Sondheim's "Another Hundred People" while the ensemble reads the arrival thoughts of 16 Queens Public Library students. Sonia Manzano will join Austin for a rendition of West Side Story's "America."

Symphony Space is located at 2537 Broadway at 95th Street.
