News Meryl Streep's "Villainous" Witch Lands Her Among MTV Movie Award Nominees Meryl Streep, who played the Witch in the film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Into the Woods, is among the nominees for this year's MTV Movie Awards, which will be held April 12 in Los Angeles.

Streep received a nod for Best Villain, and voting for the winner in each category is now open at MovieAwards.MTV.com through April 11.

Amy Schumer will host the 2015 awards show, which will be broadcast April 12 at 8 PM at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. Voting for Movie of the Year will continue throughout the live broadcast of the show.
