News   Messiah Rocks Tour to Feature Jeremiah James, Mike Eldred and Ramona Keller
Jeremiah James, Mike Eldred and Ramona Keller will lead the cast of Handel's Messiah Rocks: A Joyful Noise, which will launch its U.S. tour Nov. 7 in in Orange, TX.

NETworks is presenting the tour of Messiah Rocks, which was adapted by Jason Howland (Little Women) and features a libretto adapted by Dani Davis. Davis also serves as director of three-part, 90-minute oratorio.

The contemporary concept is based on the original 18th century work by George Frederick Handel, which has a libretto by Charles Jennens.

James (Oklahoma, Beauty and the Beast) will sing the Baritone role, with Eldred (Les Miserables, The Civil War) as the Tenor and Keller (Smokey Joe's Café; Caroline, or Change) as the Woman.

The tour will incorporate local choirs for each engagement. An interactive promotion, "How Do You Hallelujah?," has been created on the official website of Messiah Rocks to allow choirs to submit their videos online for consideration.
