Loose Cattle, the five-piece New Orleans-based Americana rock band led by two-time Tony winner Michael Cerveris and Kimberly Kaye, plays Joe's Pub March 16.

Cerveris and Kaye are joined by bandmates Renè Coman on bass, Doug Garrison on drums, and vocalist Rurik Nunan on the fiddle for the 9:30 PM concert.

Loose Cattle spent the winter at Dockside Studio and New Orleans’ Marigny Studio recording the follow-up to the group's debut album, Heavy Lifting. The new recording, to be released later this year, is produced by John Agnello with guest appearances by Lucinda Williams, Patterson Hood, and Jay Gonzalez of Drive By Truckers.

"We’re bringing the whole band up from New Orleans for a very rare NYC show featuring brand-new original songs from our upcoming album," Cerveris previously told Playbill. The actor won Tony Awards for his performances in Fun Home and Assassins.
