The puppet and live action show features original songs by Paul Sanchez and Mary Lasseigne, with a book and additional lyrics by Kimberly Kaye. Christopher Bentivegna directs.

The cast will be led by Tony winner Michael Cerveris (Dec. 4-7 only) as Burl Ives with Katie Coplen Bourg, Logan Faust, Kimberly Kaye and Edward Simon as well as a special voice over by Bryan Batt. A surprise New Orleans celebrity guest star will step in for Cerveris for the Dec. 11-14 performances.

"In a Mr. Rogers-From-Hell puppet extravaganza," press notes state, "Clarice the Reindeer and Hannibal Lector track 'Silence of The Lambs' killer Buffalo Bill after he kidnaps 'A Christmas Story''s beloved Ralphie. 34 puppets, 4 overworked puppeteers, and a different special surprise New Orleans musical guest star nightly (including John Boutte, Robin Barnes, Davis Rogan, Debbie Davis, Susan Cowsill, Paul Sanchez, Mary Lasseigne, Jamie Lynn Vessels, and Sonia Tetlow) will skewer 'A Christmas Carol,' 'The Brady Bunch,' 'Peanuts,' 'It's a Wonderful Life' and many more in a holiday special unlike anything you've ever seen…or may ever see again.
