Presented in partnership with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), the evening boasts four of ASCAP’s top film composers and lyricists, who will perform their hit music with the Pops: Alan Bergman (“Windmills of Your Mind,” with Marilyn Bergman and co-written with Michel Legrand, 1968 Oscar winner from "The Thomas Crown Affair"), Michael Giacchino (music from "Up," winner of the 2010 Oscar for Best Original Score), Bruce Broughton (music from "Silverado," 1986 Oscar nominee for Best Original Score) and Paul Williams (“Evergreen,” co-written with Barbra Streisand, 1976 Oscar winner from "A Star Is Born").

Vocalists Maureen McGovern, Debby Boone and Kevin Earley will be heard singing such tunes as “The Way You Look Tonight,” “The Sound of Music,” “The Man That Got Away,” “Stormy Weather,” “Blues in the Night,” “You Light Up My Life” and “On the Atchison, Topeka and the Santa Fe."

Attendees can also expect to hear music from "Mary Poppins," "The Magnificent Seven," "Funny Girl" and a symphonic arrangement of Pharrell Williams’ 2014 Oscar-nominated song “Happy."

Hooray for Hollywood is part of ASCAP’s ongoing, year-long 100th birthday celebration.

The family-friendly concert is being held at the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden. The grounds are open for picnicking and dining at 5:30 PM, and performances begin at 7:30 PM.

The LA County Arboretum is located at 301 N Baldwin Ave. in Arcadia, CA. Tickets start at $20 for lawn seating and $42 for table seating. For tickets, phone (626) 793-7172.
