Grammy-nominated stylist and American song ambassador Michael Feinstein will perform at the Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts on Nov. 18 at 8 PM.

In Brooklyn, Feinstein will perform the works of Broadway composers Cole Porter, George and Ira Gershwin, Jerome Kern and Irving Berlin as part of the Con Edison-sponsored “Sensational Saturdays” series.

On Oct. 30, Feinstein celebrated the release of his latest CD, "Romance on Film & Romance on Broadway," with a private party at Feinstein's at the Regency. Included in that recording are such tracks as Herman Hupfeld's "As Time Goes By," Irving Berlin's "Always" and Lorenz Hart and Richard Rodgers' "My Funny Valentine."

Feinstein started his career in music 20 years ago with an encyclopedic knowledge of American popular song. He was Ira Gershwin's archivist in the early '80s and then went on to establish himself as a successful interpreter of standards. Having worked with many of the world's top songwriters, singers and musicians including Jule Styne, Rosemary Clooney and John Dankworth, Feinstein has filled the gap left by the closing of the venerable Rainbow and Stars by starting his own room, Feinstein's at the Regency last year.

"White Christmas" star Rosemary Clooney and Feinstein will be performing at Feinstein's at the Regency this fall. Clooney will appear at Feinstein's Nov. 27 - Dec. 3 immediately following Feinstein’s run there, Dec. 6 - 30. Tickets for Michael Feinstein at the Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts run $40-$45. For the box office call (718) 951-4500 or fax (718) 951-4437. Tickets are also available from TicketMaster at (212) 307 7171.
