As previously reported, Tony Award winner Adriane Lenox will lead Ethel Waters: Blues, Broadway, and Jazz May 1 and 2.
On May 15-16, Feinstein will host Cy Coleman: Bringing Jazz to Broadway, featuring Cooper (The Life), Lee (Seesaw) and Tamara Tunie ("Law & Order").
Also planned is Sweet & Low Down: How Popular Standards Became Jazz Classics, presented June 5-6, and featuring Mueller (On a Clear Day, Into the Woods), pianist-vocalist Loston Harris and Feinstein.
According to Jazz and Popular Song, "This show will present classic songs from two viewpoints: as they were originally conceived for Broadway, Hollywood, and Tin Pan Alley, and then as they were re-invented by jazz performers to become classics in the jazz repertoire."
Talent has not been announced for the June 10 concert, Sweet & Low Down: Family Matinee, exploring the common roots of composers from Duke Ellington to Cole Porter.
