News Michael Kooman and Christopher Dimond to Showcase Work in One-Night London Concert New York-based theatre writers Michael Kooman (music) and Christopher Dimond (book and lyrics) will showcase their work in a one-night London concert, to be held Dec. 2 at St. Andrews in Holborn.

A cast of West End regulars, including Liam Doyle (currently in Mamma Mia!), Chloe Hart (who has played Tracy Turnblad in the West End's Hairspray), Carley Stenson (Princess Fiona in Shrek) and Tim Prottey-Jones (a finalist on TV's "Superstar!" who subsequently played an ensemble role in the Jesus Christ Superstar arena tour), will star.

Also in the line-up are Kelly Anne Gower, Paul Ayres, Matthew Barrow, Hannah Levane, Ceili O'Connor, Chris Thatcher, Joe Tracini, Rebecca Tehearn and Jonathan Williams, with George Dyer as musical director. The concert is produced by ILIADebuts.

Kooman and Dimond received the 2010 Jonathan Larson Grant and are the first recipients of the Lorenz Hart Award; they have also been three-time finalists for the Fred Ebb Award. Their msuicals include Dani Girl (featured in the 2011 NAMT Festival of New Musicals), Golden Gate (Williamstown Theatre Festival), Homeaid Fusion and Junior Claus. Their debut album "Out of Our Heads" features Patina Miller, Natalie Weiss and Anderson Davis, amongst others. It is available on iTunes.

In a press statement, Kooman and Dimond commented, "We are ecstatic to be planning a concert in London this fall. We've done concerts and masterclasses in the US, but we haven't yet experienced the West End. We look forward to working with some amazing performers and introducing a new audience to our work."
