News Midtown International Theatre Festival Awards Winners Announced Connect/Disconnect stars Heather Laws and Derek Keeling are among the winners of the 2009 Midtown International Theatre Festival Awards.

The 10th anniversary season of the Midtown International Theatre Festival was celebrated in an awards ceremony Aug. 30 at New World Stages. The 2009 MITF ran July 13-Aug. 2.

Producer's Awards were presented to Made in Heaven (Barbara Ligeti), The Lincoln Continental (Shadow Productions), I Hate Love (Jon Crefeld) and Yo Hot Mama(s) (Natalie Kim). The Congeniality Award was presented to Billy Mitchell for Bartholomew Fair, NJ, produced by The Theater Company/David Zimmerman.
