News Mike Birbiglia’s My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend Will Play Carnegie Hall Mike Birbiglia’s My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend, winner of the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Solo Show, will be presented at Carnegie Hall June 2.

Written by and starring Birbiglia, the performance is scheduled for 8 PM. The evening will mark the final performance of the show, which has been seen in more than 20 cities.

In My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend, press notes state, "Mike shares a lifetime of romantic blunders and miscues that most adults would spend a lifetime trying to forget. On this painfully honest journey, Mike struggles to find reason in an area where it may be impossible to find—love. "

My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend marked Birbiglia’s return to the New York stage after his acclaimed Off-Broadway engagement Sleepwalk With Me, for which he was nominated for Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards.

The upcoming evening will also feature a special performance by Ira Glass and the Monica Bill Barnes & Company from their show, “One Radio Host, Two Dancers.”
