News Mike Leigh's Abigail's Party to Party On at West End's Wyndham's Theatre The Menier Chocolate Factory's recent sold-out production of Mike Leigh's 1977 play Abigail's Party is to transfer to the West End's Wyndham's Theatre, resuming performances May 15 prior to an official opening May 18. It is booking through Sept. 1.

The cast is led by Olivier winner Jill Halfpenny (Legally Blond – the Musical) as Beverly and Andy Nyman as her husband Laurence, who are hosting a drinks party for their neighbours – Joe Absolom as Tony, Natalie Casey as his wife Angela, and Susannah Harker as Sue from across the street.

The production is directed by Lindsay Posner, currently represented in the West End by the transfer of his Old Vic production of Noises Off to the Novello, with sets and costumes by Mike Britton, lighting by Howard Harrison and sound by Fergus O'Hare.
