Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell and the opera soprano Harolyn Blackwell will also perform. Baayork Lee, choreographer of the new Broadway revival of A Chorus Line, will choreograph an opening number. A black-tie dinner dance will follow the event.
Minnelli is a world-renowned actress and recording artist and a member of an elite group of artists who have won an Oscar ("Cabaret"), a Grammy ("Liza with a Z"), a Tony (three times, for Flora, the Red Menace, The Act and Liza at the Winter Garden), an Emmy ("Liza with a Z") and a Golden Globe (twice, for "Cabaret" and "A Time to Live").
Grey most recently appeared on Broadway as The Wonderful Wizard of Oz in Wicked. His other Broadway credits include Cabaret (Tony Award), George M!, Goodtime Charley, The Grand Tour, and Amos Hart in the original cast of the current Broadway revival of Chicago.
Mitchell is an actor and recording artist whose Broadway roles include Man of La Mancha, Kiss Me, Kate (Tony Award), Ragtime and King Hedley II. He also recently released his debut solo recording, "Brian Stokes Mitchell." Blackwell has appeared on Broadway in Candide and West Side Story in addition to the Metropolitan Opera.
