News Mint Offers Talkbacks with Company of Is Life Worth Living? The Mint Theater Company has announced a series of post and pre-show discussions in connection with the Off-Broadway run of Lennox Robinson's comedy Is Life Worth Living?

Off-stage couple Jordan Baker and Kevin Kilner star in the production, which centers on "a pair of married actors heading up a troupe of traveling players in Ireland who bring their high-toned repertory of Russian and Scandinavian drama to the seaside resort town of Inish." Performances began Aug. 19 and continue through Oct. 11 under the direction of Mint artistic director Jonathan Bank.

The discussion schedule follows: "Talking Back to the Cast" with director Jonathan Bank and cast members (Aug. 29, Sept. 5); "The Play as an Autobiographical Text" with Nancy E. Raftery (Aug. 30); "Keeping Your Sanity while Going Crazy Seven Times a Week" with director Jonathan Bank and members of the cast (Sept. 8); "IS Life Worth Living?" with mental health experts Wendy Brennan and Easy Klein (Sept. 10); "Brush Up Your Ibsen!" with professor J. Ellen Gainor (Sept. 12); "Do Plays Have Consequences?" with professor Martin Meisel (Sept. 20); "Lennox Robinson and The Abbey Theatre" with professor John P. Harrington (Sept. 26); and "I Hate Leprechauns" with dialect coach Amy Stoller (Oct. 3).
