News Miss Intermission Debuts at Theater Schmeater, Thru May 16 SEATTLE- In much the same way as " The Simpsons" spun off of The Tracey Ullman Show, an act designed as filler for Theater Schmeater’s hugely popular The Twilight Zone-Live has taken on life of it’s own, as The Miss Intermission Show debuts Fri. Apr. 17.

SEATTLE- In much the same way as " The Simpsons" spun off of The Tracey Ullman Show, an act designed as filler for Theater Schmeater’s hugely popular The Twilight Zone-Live has taken on life of it’s own, as The Miss Intermission Show debuts Fri. Apr. 17. Lisa Neal, who plays the zany, squeaky-voiced title character scripted the show, with parody master Tom Orr (Dirty Little Showtunes handling the lyrics, in this rags to minimum wage saga of Miss Intermission’s rise to prominence.

The show performs Fri. and Sat. evenings at 10 PM through May 16 at Theater Schmeater, 1500 Summit, on Capitol Hill, sandwiched comfortably between performances of Twilight Zone at 9 and 11 PM. Tickets ($7) are sold separately for the two productions. For reservations call (206)324-5801.
