Mitchell (Legally Blonde, Hairspray, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Broadway Bares) teamed with BASE Entertainment on the new production, which features original music and arrangements from composer Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party, john & jen, The Addams Family). Peepshow officially opens April 18.
Peepshow is described as "a modern burlesque show created specifically for the dynamic, glamorous audience that exists only in the adult playground of Las Vegas. A highly stylized, full-throttle production show that combines sexy striptease and celebrity with high-level production values and a dash of passion."
Original Spice Girl Mel B. (a.k.a. Melanie Brown) portrays "The Peep Diva," who serves as the evening's emcee, and guides "Bo Peep" (portrayed by "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Kelly Monaco) on her search for love.
Peepshow also stars "American Idol" contestant and star of Broadway's Tarzan, Josh Strickland, as the male vocalist. The Peepshow girls are Lena Blake, Olivia Cipolla, Keltie Colleen, Kristin Rose DeCesare, Renay Herter, Monica Klus, Emily Loftiss (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Michele Martinez, Allie Meixner, Marielys Molina, Leah O'Donnell, Carolyn Pace, Jessica Press, Jennifer Quinlan, Katie Webber (Wicked), Adar Wellington and Kaci R. Wilson.
Ensemble members include Albert Blaise Cattafi, Jason Davies (Wicked), Nick Kenkel (Legally Blonde), Stoyan Metchkarov and Timber. A design team of Broadway veterans has been assembled for Peepshow: David Rockwell (set design), Gregg Barnes (costume design), Josh Marquette (hair design), Chris Lee (lighting design), Zachary Borovay (video design) and ACME Sound Partners (sound design).
Peepshow will be performed Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Friday at 8 PM and Thursday and Saturday at 7 PM and 9:30 PM. Tickets, priced $65-$100, are available by phoning (702) 474-4000 or by visiting Ticketmaster.com
