"It's true, I popped the big 'Q'," said Ferguson, who introduced Mikita as his fiancé, in the recently released video promoting TieTheKnot.org.
Ferguson and Mikita have teamed up with Tie Bar to create a collection of bowties that inspire individuality. Proceeds from the ties will benefit various organizations that fight for the civil rights of the LGBTQ community.
Ferguson added, "Who wouldn't want to see us get married?"
Ferguson was seen on Broadway in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and On the Town. He also appeared on stage in the Public Theater's The Merchant of Venice and is best known for his work on the ABC comedy series "Modern Family."
