Among the television performers with theatrical ties who will be honored are Horatio Sanz, Mark Indelicato, Ricardo Antonio Chavira, America Ferrera, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Rosie Perez, Benjamin Bratt, Jimmy Smits, David Zayas, Sara Ramirez and Cote de Pablo. Film actors honored include Alfred Molina, John Leguizamo, Michelle Rodriguez, Rosario Dawson and Penélope Cruz.
High School Musical director Kenny Ortega is among the Special Achievement Honorees. Salma Hayek will present Anthony Quinn with the Award for Industry Excellence, and Moreno will present Monalban with his tribute.
The ALMA Awards, named for the Spanish word for soul, honors the work of Latinos in the entertainment industry.
