"Thematically," Oyen said, "Moment By Moment speaks a lot about reflection, so it's fitting to release it at the end of 2014. We had some hilarious days in the studio making this album, and I think it really shows in the finished product. Our whole team is extremely proud of the project and I cannot wait for the world to hear it."
According to press notes, "Moment by Moment is about accidently sending a draft text message. It's about being stuck on the L train between the East Village and Williamsburg, staring directly at your ex. It's the three-hour line at Trader Joe’s, and the hot Starbucks cashier. It is a driving celebration of fucking up, starting again and living to tell the tale, at least a little bit wiser. Songs include some of Oyen's most recognisable tracks including, 'I Don't Want to Lie,' 'The Bro Duet' and 'Belief.'" Oyen's Moment by Moment received its international debut in Thailand in 2013. He is the recipient of the 2014 ASCAP Foundation's Lucille and Jack Yellen award for promising lyricists.
