News Moments with Ravi: Tales of a Misfit Will Play the Laurie Beechman Theatre Actor Ravi Roth, who appeared Off-Broadway in the final cast of Altar Boyz, will premiere a new solo show, Moments with Ravi: Tales of a Misfit, April 30 at the Laurie Beechman Theatre.

Roth and Michael Schwartz collaborated on the cabaret that will have musical direction by Caleb Hoyer. Show time is 9:30 PM.

The evening is billed as a "comedic, musical glimpse into Ravi Roth's misfit life from the farms of Pennsylvania to the streets of New York City. Full of rapping, tapping, Slim Goodbody, marching band, and goats—Goats? Yes, goats.— Moments with Ravi: Tales of a Misfit features music from Sondheim to Gaga and everything between."

Special guests will be Anne Fraser Thomas and Travis Nesbitt.

Roth has also been seen Off-Broadway in Seussical, as well as in the New York Musical Theatre Festival production of My Mother's Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding, the 2010 reading of the pop musical bare and the musical web series "Perks." Roth holds a BFA from the Boston Conservatory.
