News Monty Python's Spamalot Kicks Off Music Theatre of Wichita's 2013 Lineup June 12 The Music Theatre of Wichita kicks off its 2013 season June 12 with the Tony Award-winning musical Monty Python's Spamalot, which runs through June 16 in Wichita, KS.

Monty Python's Spamalot, the award-winning musical comedy that recounts the legend of King Arthur, features a book and lyrics by Eric Idle with music by Idle and John Du Prez. 

The 2013 company includes Kathryn Boswell, Kimberly Corbett, Eleanor Fishman, Hannah Freeman, Rebecca Gans, Claire Gerig, Catherine Helm, Emily Kelly, Brooke Lacy, Carolyn Anne Miller, Becca Petersen, Sarah Quinn, Riza Takahashi, Katie Wesler, Hayley Wilhelm, Sumire Yu, Faith Northcutt, Maddie Razook, Robert Ariza, Daniel Beeman, Daniel Bevins, Jacob Chancellor, Jordan De Leon, Caleb Dicke, Michael Hartung, Dan Horn, Elliott Mattox, Evan Mayer, Trevor McChristian, Alexander H. Miller, Chet Norment, Nicholas Palmquist, Benjamin Rivera, Sean Ronayne, Andy Tofa and Zack Wilhelm.

The season continues with Les Misérables, featuring music by Claude-Michel Schonberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer and a book by Schonberg and Alain Boublil, June 26-30; Rodgers and Hammerstein's The King and I (July 10-14); Betty Blue Eyes (July 24-28); and Disney's Mary Poppins (Aug. 9-11).

Music Theatre of Wichita, a not-for-profit arts organization in the state of Kansas, produces five Broadway-scale musical productions each summer. While producing its musicals, Music Theatre simultaneously conducts a specialized training program, geared to helping young Midwesterners prepare for professional careers.
