The concert, presented at San Francisco's Alcazar Theater, boasts the talents of Andrea Marcovicci, Judy Butterfield, Marcus Lovett, Debbie de Coudreaux and Klea Blackhurst as well as Maureen McVerry, Darlene Popovic, Kelly Houston, Caroline Altman, Amy Louise Cole, David Curley, Bill Fahrner, Nina Josephs, Rudy Guerrero, Anil Margsahayam, Tom Orr and Kalon Thibodeaux. The concert's first act features songs from past 42nd Street Moon productions, including Something for the Boys, Jubilee, Goodtime Charley, Finian's Rainbow, Minnie's Boys, Silk Stockings, Girl Crazy, Very Warm for May, DuBarry Was a Lady, Face the Music, Call Me Madam, Louisiana Purchase and Oh Captain. The second half of the evening features songs from "the shows missed" as well as a sneak preview of the company's 2007-2008 season.
The gala event begins at 5:30 PM with hors d'oeuvres and a silent auction followed by the 7 PM concert.
The upcoming 42nd Street Moon season will include a production of Coco starring the aforementioned Andrea Marcovicci.
