News More Tony Winners Join Starry Lineup for Everybody, Rise!, Tribute to Elaine Stritch; Lottery Announced Additional artists have been announced for Everybody, Rise! A Celebration of Elaine Stritch, an all-star tribute to the life and career of the late Tony and Emmy-winning actress that will be held Nov. 17 at 4 PM at The Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

Constructed by George C. Wolfe, the tribute will feature reminiscences and performances by a host of theatre luminaries, including the previously reported Bernadette Peters, Patti LuPone, Hal Prince, Betty Buckley, Christine Ebersole and Michael Feinstein.

Newly announced for the tribute are Tony winners Nathan Lane and Lena Hall as well as Holland Taylor and Liz Smith with additional reminiscences by Hunter Ryan Herdlicka and Julie Keyes. Rob Bowman, Ms. Stritch's longtime musical director, will serve as musical director for the event.

Ms. Stritch passed away July 17 at the age of 89.

The Honorary Producing Committee for the celebration includes Chiemi Karasawa, Carol Fineman, Rob Bowman, Hal Prince, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, Julie Keyes, Rick Borutta, Mindy Cohn, Joseph Rosenthal, Cheryl Wiesenfeld and Will Gaines.

Everybody, Rise! is made possible in part by support from Jujamcyn Theaters/Jordan Roth and Kinky Boots the Musical and IAC. Additional support is provided by The Nederlander Organization, Lyn and Norman Lear, Ms. Terry Hekker, Steinway & Sons A percentage of all contributions will be donated to the Elaine Stritch Scholarship Fund at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting.

The Al Hirschfeld Theatre is located at 302 West 45th Street.

A limited number of tickets are now available to the general public via electronic lottery. Members of the public can enter the lottery by filling out their names and email address at www.jujamcyn.com/everybody-rise.html. Winners will be drawn and notified via email on Nov. 15. Those selected to receive a pair of tickets will get an email confirmation. All tickets must be picked up between 3 PM and 3:45 PM at Will Call at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Tickets not be picked up by 3:45 PM on the day of the event will be forfeited.

There will be a standby line at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre for tickets that may become available the day of the event, starting at 1 PM.
