Michael Greif directs the 11 AM and 3 PM readings at New York Theatre Workshop. The cast boasts Merle Dandridge, Zandi De Jesus, Kathleen Halm, Dale Hensley, Paolo Montalban, Julia Murney, Ken Page, David Nathan Perlow, Daniel Torres, Bryan West and Branch Woodman. Most Wanted features music by Mark Bennett, a book by Jessica Hagedorn and lyrics by Bennett and Hagedorn. The musical, according to press notes, "explores our society's obsession with wealth, fame and the cult of celebrity. In the wake of the media frenzy surrounding the brutal murder of the world's premier fashion designer, drag queens, divas and dandies all gather to take us on a kaleidoscopic journey through high fashion, glossy magazines, low dives, and into the mind of a young killer."

The creative team also features musical director Charlie Alterman, assistant music director Mike Pettry, stage manager Heather Hogan and assistant stage manager Rachel Motz.

A workshop production of Most Wanted was presented at the La Jolla Playhouse in October 2007.

New York Theatre Workshop is located in Manhattan at 79 East 4th Street.
