The Bravo Network's popular "Inside the Actors Studio" program will feature a two-hour interview with Grammy-winning composer Billy Joel 8 PM July 15.
Joel will be James Lipton's special guest on the rebroadcast of "Inside the Actors Studio," the weekly program that features public seminars with major artists who discuss their craft. Upcoming guests include actors Ben Kingsley (July 28) and Vanessa Redgrave (Aug. 4).
The music of Billy Joel — composer of such pop hits as "Uptown Girl," "Piano Man" and "Allentown" — is featured in the Broadway-bound musical Movin' Out, which is being directed and choreographed by the legendary Twyla Tharp. After its out-of-town tryout in Chicago, Movin' Out is scheduled for a Broadway debut this fall at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (previews Sept. 30, opens Oct. 24.)
