Ewing, who originated the Obie award winning role in New York and performed the show in London, plays Ali, with John DiFusco directing.

Royce is an editor and writer for the features section of the Star Tribune in Minneapolis. He has written three other plays, including a one-man show based on the final days of David Koresh.

Ali tells the story of the heavyweight champ's life and describes "a spiritual odyssey from Olympic gold to his greatest bout with Parkinson's disease," said a company spokesperson.

Daniel Leake is the fight choreographer and the production stage manager is Stephanie Coltrin. The producers are Ron Sossi and David Mills. Call (310) 477-2055.
