News Mullally, O'Hara and Connick, Jr. Sing Frank Loesser Tunes June 7 The American Theatre Wing's annual spring gala, this year celebrating the centennial of Tony Award-winning composer Frank Loesser, will be presented June 7 at Cipriani 42nd Street.

Entitled Heart and Soul: The Legacy of Frank Loesser, the evening boasts the talents of Harry Connick, Jr., Megan Mullally and Kelli O'Hara. Marc Bruni directs the entertainment with musical direction by Rob Berman, lighting by Ken Billington and sound by Tom Young.

In addition to celebrating Loesser's scores for Guys and Dolls, How to Succeed in Business Without Trying, The Most Happy Fella and Where's Charley?, the evening will also honor the companies he created: Music Theatre International and Frank Music Corp.

The evening's honorary chairs include Susan Loesser, John Loesser, Emily Loesser Stephenson (Loesser's children); Stephen Sondheim; and the Wing's longest-serving board member (and Loesser's widow), Jo Sullivan Loesser. The gala co-chairs are Craig Zadan, Neil Meron, Jacquin Philip Fink, Freddie Gershon and ATW Board members Theodore S. Chapin and Douglas B. Leeds.

Proceeds from the evening benefit the education and outreach programs of the American Theatre Wing.

Cipriani 42nd Street is located in Manhattan at 110 East 42nd Street. The evening includes cocktails, dinner and performances. Tickets start at $700, and tables of 10 at $7,000; for more information email [email protected] or call (212) 765-0606, ext. 302.
