Regional News Muny and St. Louis Symphony Orchestra Join Forces for Star-Filled Stephen Sondheim Concert

A Little Sondheim Music will be presented next month at Powell Hall.

The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and The Muny have joined forces for a concert honoring the late Stephen SondheimA Little Sondheim Music will be presented at Powell Hall October 2 at 3 PM in St. Louis.

Performing the work of the late, Tony- and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer-lyricist will be Broadway's Ben Davis, Bryonha Marie Parham, Matthew Scott, Emily Skinner, and Elizabeth Stanley with a special appearance by St. Louis native Ken Page. Muny Artistic Director and Executive Mike Isaacson will host the afternoon with musical staging by Michael Baxter. Muny veteran Ben Whiteley is the conductor.

Attendees can expect to hear selections from Merrily We Roll Along, Into the Woods, Follies, A Little Night Music, Company, Sweeney Todd, and more.
