News Muny Season to Feature Grease, Les Miz and More Six musicals will comprise the summer season at the St. Louis Muny, the nation's oldest and largest outdoor theatre. The season, which opens June 18, 2007, will include the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Oklahoma!

Playbill.com has learned that the Muny season will also feature productions of Grease; Peter Pan; Hello, Dolly!; The Pajama Game; Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat; and Les Misérables. The Muny is one of only eight theatres chosen in the U.S. to present an originally produced version of Les Miz. All seven shows will be produced locally by The Muny. Subscription for the summer series at the St. Louis venue will go on sale March 24, 2007. Single ticket will be available in June.

The theatre regularly attracts Broadway talent. Last season boasted performances by Karen Mason, Stephen Bogardus, Sarah Uriarte Berry, Ken Page, Bruce Adler, Robert Westenberg, Kate Baldwin and James Clow.
