News Musical Parody of "Devil Wears Prada" Hits L.A. L.A.'s Rockwell Table & Stage presents The Unauthorized Musical Parody of The Devil Wears Prada Jan. 28; two actors alternately play the role of Miranda Priestly, the maniacal character made famous by Meryl Streep in the film.

The Unauthorized Musical Parody of The Devil Wears Prada plays through March 19 starring Drew Droege and John Flynn. The show is executive-produced by Kate Pazakis.

"The Devil Wears Prada" is currently being developed into a stage musical by Fox Stage. Isaac Robert Hurwitz, who co-founded the New York Musical Theatre Festival in 2004 and served as its executive director and producer for 10 years, is overseeing the project as senior vice president of Fox Stage Productions. Broadway producer Kevin McCollum (Something Rotten) has also been previously attached to the musical adaptation.
