News Musicals Tonight Plans Shows by Jerome Kern, George Gershwin and More for New Seasons Musicals Tonight, under the aristic direction of Mel Miller, will present Fade Out - Fade In and Strike Up the Band as part of its five-show 2012-13 season at the Lion Theatre.

Fade Out – Fade In, the spoof of 1930's Hollywood, will run Oct. 16-28. It has book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green and music by Jule Styne.

The George and Ira Gershwin musical revue Strike Up the Band will follow March 12-24, 2013.

The Stan Daniels musical Same Time, Next Year, based on the Bernard Slade play about a couple who meet for a tryst every 24 years, will run April 2-14, 2013.

The final production will be Leave It to Jane, with music by Jerome Kern and book and lyrics by Guy Bolton and P. G. Wodehouse. Running April 16-28, 2013, it satirizes college life in a Midwestern U.S. town.

Casting and one additional production will be announced at a later time.
