News My Way to Launch Theatre By the Sea's 2009 Summer Season Rhode Island's Theatre By the Sea will stage Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Crazy for You as part of its 2009 summer season.

The season will begin with My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra, running May 27-June 14. The popular revue features the songs "My Funny Valentine," "High Hopes," "Fly Me to the Moon," "I Only Have Eyes for You," and the title song.

Up next is the 1930's-set Gershwin musical Crazy for You, running June 17-July 11. Featuring a book by Ken Ludwig, the Tony-winning dance extravaganza boasts the hit standards "Someone to Watch Over Me," "I Got Rhythm," "Nice Work If You Can Get It" and "Embraceable You."

The classic 1954 Broadway musical Peter Pan will follow, playing July 15-Aug. 8. Featuring a score by Mark Charlap and Jule Styne, with lyrics by Carolyn Leigh, Betty Comden and Adolph Green, the high-flying musical is based on the beloved J.M. Barrie story.

The season will conclude with the Tony-nominated musical Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, which runs Aug. 12-Sept. 6. Based on the 1988 film about two con men, the French Riviera-set musical features a score by David Yazbek and a book by Jeffrey Lane.
