News Naked Boys Get Overexposed for BC/EFA Aug. 22 The cast of Off-Broadway's Naked Boys Singing! will take part in a benefit concert for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Aug. 22.

Entitled Overexposed, the 8 PM concert at Helen's Hideaway will feature the talents of Michael Chapman, Charlie Duff, Gavin Esham, Frank Galgano, Brian M. Golub, David Macaluso, Lance Olds and Trevor Southworth. The 90-minute concert will be directed by Frank Galgano and Gavin Esham with musical direction by Steven Bocchino.

Director Esham said in a statement, "Overexposed is an opportunity for the cast in Naked Boys to show their other sides: revealing the joys and difficulties of life and what it's like to be an actor in New York. We chose songs that deal with love loss and relationships which feature a male perspective."

Concertgoers can expect to hear such tunes as "Saturn Rising," "Another Hundred People," "Home," "Being Alive," Set Sail," "Who Can I Turn To?," "Fathers of Fathers," "Moving Right Along," "Too Many Tomorrows," "Make Someone Happy," "I Feel the Earth Move," "It's Never That Easy" and "I've Been Here Before."

Helen's Hideaway is located in Manhattan at 169 Eighth Avenue, between 18th and 19th Streets. There is a $25 cover charge (which goes to BC/EFA) plus a $15 food/drink minimum. Doors open at 7 PM.

* Naked Boys Singing! is currently in its seventh year Off-Broadway. The musical revue now plays the Julia Miles Theater.
