News Naked Boys Singing! to Move to Dodger Stages in October Believe it or not, the Off-Broadway musical revue Naked Boys Singing! is on the move again.

The sometimes comic, sometimes serious, all-singing, all-dancing revue celebrating male nudity will play its final performance at the Julia Miles Theatre Oct. 8. The show will reopen Oct. 14 at Dodger Stages/Stage 5. (The show premiered at the Actor's Playhouse in 1999 and has played subsequent runs at Theatre 4 and the 47th Street Theatre.)

Naked Boys Singing!'s original 16-song score includes such numbers as "Fight the Urge," "The Bliss of a Bris," "Muscle Addiction," "Nothing But the Radio On," "Members Only" and "Window to Window." The musical comedy revue opened in New York July 22, 1999, after a successful run at the Celebration Theatre in Los Angeles. The show's contributing writers are Stephen Bates, Marie Cain, Shelly Markham, Jim Morgan, David Pevsner, Rayme Sciaroni, Mark Savage, Ben Schaechter, Robert Schrock, Mark Winkler and Bruce Vilanch. Schrock directed with choreography by Jeffry Denman and musical direction by Stephen Bates, who died in 2003.

Naked Boys Singing! offers three performances a week: Fridays at 10:30 PM and Saturdays at 6 and 10:30 PM.

The Julia Miles Theater is located at 424 West 55th Street. Dodger Stages/Stage 5 is located at 340 West 50th Street. Tickets are available by calling (212) 239-6200.

* Naked Boys Singing! will share Stage 5 with The Musical of Musicals—The Musical. The latter will offer performances Mondays at 8 PM, Wednesdays at 2 PM, Thursdays and Fridays at 8 PM, Saturdays at 2 and 8 PM and Sundays at 3 and 7 PM.
