News Nathan Lane and Steven Pasquale Are Latest Broadway Stars to Join O.J. Simpson Miniseries Nathan Lane is giving TV another try.

The star of Broadway's The Producers and last season's It's Only a Play has been signed to play celebrity attorney F. Lee Bailey in Ryan Murphy's "American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson," according to Deadline.com.

Steven Pasquale (The Wild Party, Bridges of Madison County) also revealed to Playbill.com that he's been cast as detective Mark Fuhrman in the FX miniseries. He joins other Broadway actors in the cast, including Matthew Broderick, Courtney B. Vance, Marisa Tomei and Daniel Radcliffe.

Cuba Gooding, Jr. plays Simpson, a former star football player who became an actor before being charged with murdering his wife and a friend. John Travolta and David Schwimmer play Simpson's defense attorneys.

The 10-episode miniseries is scheduled to be broadcast starting on a date TBA in 2016.

Lane has appeared in several hit movies, notably "The Lion King" and "The Birdcage." He has not always had luck with TV. The shows in which he has starred, including "Encore! Encore!" and "Charlie Lawrence" have had short runs, though he's had more success recently in recurring roles on “The Good Wife” and “Modern Family.”
