News National Theatre Live's The Comedy of Errors Screens on NCM Network March 1 National Theatre Live, an initiative to broadcast live performances from the National Theatre's stages to cinemas worldwide, continues its third season with The Comedy of Errors, which screens on the NCM Fathom network March 1.

The Comedy of Errors follows Collaborators, which screened on the NCM network Dec. 1, 2011. The Kitchen and One Man, Two Guvnors, which is scheduled to open at Broadway's Music Box Theatre April 18, were also included in NT Live's season.

William Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors, directed by Dominic Cooke, artistic director of London's Royal Court Theatre, stars actor-comedian Lenny Henry in his National Theatre debut.

The cast also includes Marcus Adolphy, Tom Anderson, Paul Bentall, Claudie Blakley, Ian Burfield, Silas Carson, Clare Cathcart, Lenny Henry, Adrian Hood, Chris Jarman, Lucian Msamati, Joseph Mydell, Yvonne Newman, Pamela Nomvete, Rhiannon Oliver, Jude Owusu, Simon Parrish, Daniel Poyser, Amit Shah, Michelle Terry, Grace Thurgood,
Everal A. Walsh and Rene Zagger.

Other members of the creative team include designer Bunny Christie, lighting designer Paule Constable, movement director Ann Yee, sound designer Christopher Shutt and fight director Kate Waters. Music is by Gary Yershon.

Following The Comedy of Errors, Jamie Lloyd's production of Oliver Goldsmith's classic comedy She Stoops to Conquer will hit theatres March 29. Additionally, encore screenings of Danny Boyle’s Frankenstein will screen this summer.

Since NT Live's first season, which began in June 2009 with Phédre starring Helen Mirren, over half-a-million people have experienced the National’s acclaimed work on movie screens around the world.
