March 11, England's Royal National Theatre opens its revival of Lady In The Dark, the musical comedy by Moss Hart (book), Ira Gershwin (lyrics) and Kurt Weill (music). The show began previews March 3 and is scheduled to run through at least May. Maria Friedman (Passion) stars in the role originated by Gertrude Lawrence. Also featured are Adrian Dunbar, Hugh Roth and James Dreyfus. Francesca Zambello directs the 1941 musical, which centers on the strange dreams of a fashion magazine editor. Songs include "Tchaikowsky" and "My Ship."
