December 16, 2015
Harris tweeted his response:
So
@BestTimeEver happened. Super grueling yet exuberant fun. I'm proud of what we did - live! - and still believe in variety. Stay tuned.
The hour-long show, adapted from the British variety series "Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway," was a festival of high-energy stunts and gags. It debuted Sept. 15 to respectable ratings, but was moved into different time slots several times during its two-month first season, ending up at 9 PM Tuesdays, where it failed to draw enough viewers to warrant renewal.
