News Neil Patrick Harris' "Best Time Ever" TV Variety Show Sets Premiere Date Neil Patrick Harris' new hourlong TV variety show, "Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris," will premiere Sept. 15 on NBC, according to Deadline Hollywood, but will be shown in at least two different time slots at various times during its first season.

As previously reported, the Tony-winning actor signed a deal with NBC to host a new variety show based on the U.K. series "Saturday Night Takeaway." The show will air Tuesday nights at 10 PM following "The Voice." Starting Oct. 13, however, "Best Time" will move to 8 PM and served as the lead-in to "The Voice." It will wrap up its first round of new episodes in November.

Harris won the 2014 Best Actor in a Musical Tony Award for his performance in Hedwig and the Angry Inch. He has performed on Broadway in Assassins, as well as Cabaret and Proof, and in the New York Philharmonic production of Company.

Harris, who has emceed the Tony Awards four times and the Emmys twice, made his Oscars hosting debut Feb. 22, 2015. He has been honored with four Emmy Awards: three for his acclaimed hosting of the Tony Awards and another for his guest-starring role on "Glee."
