One of Broadway's favorite baby-faced comedians has a new stand-up special headed to Netflix next month. John Mulaney: Baby J, the comic's third solo Netflix special, is set to air globally on the streamer April 25.

Shot in Boston’s Symphony Hall in February 2023, the special features direction by Tony winner Alex Timbers (Moulin Rouge!) and music by David Byrne. Byrne was recently on Broadway both before and after the pandemic with his theatrical concert American Utopia.

Mulaney's previous Netflix specials include The Comeback Kid (2015) and Kid Gorgeous (2018) as well as his 2019 variety special John Mulaney & The Sack Lunch Bunch.

In 2016, Mulaney appeared on Broadway alongside Nick Kroll in their comedy show Oh, Hello. Based on sketches from Kroll ShowOh, Hello centered on Gil Faizon (Kroll) and George St. Geegland (Mulaney), two elderly Upper West Siders delivering hot takes and too much tuna. The Broadway show was filmed and can also be streamed on Netflix.
