News Neuwirth, Palitz and Robbins Foundation Will Be Honored at Dance Rocks Dance Rocks: An Electrifying Evening of Entertainment is the title of the annual Career Transition for Dancers' Anniversary Jubilee benefit, which will be held Oct. 29 at New York's City Center.

The 7 PM event, according to press notes, "will be an entertaining, electrifying evening of dance set to music through the decades, from the 50's to hip hop."

The annual event will honor Tony winner Bebe Neuwirth, Anka K. Palitz and the Jerome Robbins Foundation. Neuwirth will receive the Rolex Dance Award and Palitz and the Robbins Foundation will both receive the Career Transition for Dancers' 2007 Award for Outstanding Contributions to the World of Dance.

In a statement, Allen Brill, president and CEO of Rolex Watch USA, said, "We are delighted to present the Rolex Dance Award to Bebe Neuwirth, one of the most celebrated dancer-singer-actresses of our time. Her career on stage and both in film and television are a testament to her versatility. As such a dedicated supporter of Career Transition for Dancers, it is an honor to be celebrating her career and many contributions to the world of dance."
