The show, which began previews Oct. 28 and officially opened Nov. 1, was originally scheduled to end its run Dec. 17. The show will now resume performances Jan. 13, 2007, and play through Feb. 24, 2007.

Written and directed by Bill Daugherty, the new musical stars its creator as well as Paul Kropfl, Christina Morrell and Connie Pachl. Musical director Doyle Newmyer is featured on piano with Jim Conant on guitar and John Loehrke on bass.

When the Lights Go On is set during a live radio broadcast in the ballroom of the Roosevelt Hotel. The musical, according to press notes, "follows The Moonlighters, an up and coming singing group trying to land a job with the legendary Glenn Miller band. Told through 28 hit songs from the 1940s, the musical paints the emotions of a country supporting its combat efforts and the sacrifices that war can bring."

Performance times are Fridays at 7 PM and Saturdays at 2 PM. Producers are Thoroughbred Records and Max Weintraub.
