DTC will inaugurate the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre with a season that also includes a revised production of the musical It's a Bird…It's a Plane…It's Superman, as well as Death of a Salesman, Neil LaBute's The Beauty Plays, A Christmas Carol and A Midsummer Night's Dream.

The world premiere musical Give It Up! launches the new year from Jan. 15-Feb. 14, 2010. With a book by Beane (Little Dog Laughed, Xanadu) and a score by Flinn, the show re-sets the Greek classic Lysistrata (about women who go on a sex strike) in an "American college gym where the cheerleaders teach the basketball team their real power to 'Just say no!' It's a raucous twist on the student body that turns tunics to gym shorts, a vanquished army into the Varsity squad, and the Greek chorus into co-eds."

Give It Up! will feature direction and choreography by Dan Knechtges, who choreographed the Broadway productions of Xanadu, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and 110 in the Shade. Neil LaBute's The Beauty Plays, including The Shape of Things, Fat Pig and a third play to be announced, will run Feb. 23-May 23, 2010. Matthew Gray, Kevin Moriarty, Joel Ferrell will direct the plays that are set to feature Lee Trull and Christina Vela.

Arthur Miller's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Death of a Salesman, running April 16-May 16, will feature Hassan El-Amin, Chamblee Ferguson, Matthew Gray, Sean Hennigan, Liz Mikel, Cedric Neal and Sally Nystuen Vahle.

Good Boys and True playwright Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has adapted the book for a new production of the 1960s Charles Strouse and Lee Adams musical It's a Bird…It's a Plane…It's Superman. Aguirre-Sacasa, a writer of comic books including "Marvel Knights 4" and "Sensational Spider-Man," will deliver a hip new version of the original David Newman-Robert Benton book.

Kevin Moriarty will direct Superman with choreography by Joel Ferrell. Cast members include Hassan El-Amin, Sean Hennigan and Cedric Neal.
