The show, currently using the provisional title An Evening With Billy Crystal and His Special Guest David Steinberg, will play California's La Jolla Playhouse (Feb. 21 & 22) as well as the Atlanta Symphony Hall (April 7 & 8) in Georgia. "It's an interview format with performance and film pieces interwoven. My hope is to develop and expand this," Crystal posed in a released statement. The work has also been mentioned to be Broadway-bound, according to Variety.

The four dates will also serve as benefit performances. Funds raised from the La Jolla event will go towards supporting the Playhouse’s New Play Development Program. The Atlanta shows are a benefit for the 50th anniversary of the Greenfield Hebrew Academy in honor of Drs. Jean and Irving Greenberg and the Yovel Celebration.

Crystal recently appeared in "Analyze That," the sequel to "Analyze This." Other films credits include "Running Scared," "Throw Momma From The Train," "The Princess Bride," "When Harry Met Sally," and "America’s Sweethearts." He also provided the voice of Mike in the animated "Monsters Inc." Crystal also received lauds for his directorial work in "*61" which he also executive produced.

Comedy writer-director Steinberg has directed episodes of "Friends," "Seinfeld," "Mad About You" and the HBO comedy "Curb Your Enthusiasm." He won two Emmy Awards for his work on the Oscar telecasts which were hosted by collaborator Crystal.

Tickets to the evening can be purchased by calling (858) 550-1010 for La Jolla and (404) 843-9900 for Atlanta.
