The Mousetrap

Agatha Christie’s iconic thriller The Mousetrap, the longest-running play in the world, has announced a new company for its West End run at St Martin’s Theatre.

Starting November 20, the cast will include Rachel Summers as Mollie Ralston, Christopher Bonwell as Giles Ralston, Joshua Glenister as Christopher Wren, Gay Soper as Mrs Boyle, Miles Richardson as Major Metcalf, Jessica Temple as Miss Casewell, Sebastien Torkia as Mr Paravicini, and George Hannigan as Detective Sgt. Trotter, with Clive Marlowe, Sarah Parkins, Ben Riddle, Kieran Seabrook France, Alexander Scrivens, and Cathryn Sherman rounding out the company.

In the play, adapted from the novel of the same name, a group of seven strangers find themselves snowed in at Monkswell Manor as news spreads of a London murder. When a police sergeant arrives, the guests discover that a killer is in their midst.

In 2022, it was announced that The Mousetrap would come to Broadway. The producers behind the West End production of the play, which has been running since 1952, initially said the work would bow on the Main Stem in 2023, but no further updates have materialized.
