News New Comedy, Dalliance in Vienna, with Christine Pedi, Presented Off-Broadway Dec. 2-21 Dalliance in Vienna, a new comedy by Douglas Braverman, directed by Thomas Morrissey, will have its premiere at the hands of the Genesius Theatre Guild Dec. 2-21. The show will open at The American Theatre of Actors, located at 314 West 54th Street (between Eighth and Ninth Avenues in Manhattan) on Dec. 4.

The play is described as "a comic confection set in turn-of-the-century Vienna, at a time when Sigmund Freud was pondering, along with men everywhere, the question of 'What do women want?'" The characters include a young wife, married to a stiff army officer, and three soldiers who suddenly visit them: a handsome cad, a poetic romancer and a virginal lad. All attempt to seduce the unhappy wife. The cast features Christine Pedi, of Forbidden Broadway fame, as well as Thomas James O'Leary, Emily Strang, Glenn Kalison, Lucas Steele and Melinda Tanner.
