Directed by Tony Award winner Ted Sperling (See What I Wanna See, South Pacific, Guys & Dolls) with musical direction by Vadim Feichtner (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), the comedy stars authors Rosen (Guys & Dolls, Spamalot, The Farnsworth Invention) and Rossmer (Titanic, Fiddler on the Roof) — both as the ill-fated Josh Cohen — along with Sara Chase (The Toxic Avenger, The First Wives' Club), Feichtner, Hannah Sielatycki and Danny Stone, all of whom also double as the band.

"Josh Cohen hates Valentine's Day," according to press notes. "This year is no exception: he's unlucky in love, working a job he hates, and his apartment just got robbed of everything except a Neil Diamond CD. But when an unexpected treasure arrives in his mailbox, he's forced to confront his biggest enemy: his own conscience."

The production also features associate direction/musical staging by Andrew Palermo, lighting design by Lois Catanzaro, sound design by Ted Pallas and costume design by Meredith Benson. The production stage manager is Jennifer Rogers. Lauren Bass produces.

Show times are also scheduled for Oct. 5 at 1 PM, Oct. 6 at 4:30 PM, Oct. 8 at 8 PM, Oct. 9 at 1 PM and Oct. 10 at 4:30 PM and 8 PM.

Urban Stages is located at 259 W. 30th St. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at or in person at the box office.
