News New Elaine Paige Recording Due in Stores in October West End musical theatre star Elaine Paige, who made her long-awaited Broadway debut in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard, will release a new CD in October.

According to the actress’ official website, the recording, featuring brand-new tracks, will hit stores in the U.K. Oct. 23 on the Universal label. Produced by Mike Moran, Paige’s latest solo disc will include songs from Les Misérables, West Side Story, Evita, Grease and Chess. Arguably Britain's most successful musical theatre actress, Elaine Paige has starred on the London stage in Evita, Cats, Chess, Anything Goes, Piaf, Sunset Boulevard and The King and I. She made her Broadway debut to much acclaim in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard, and her recordings are numerous. Paige also appeared in the New York City Opera's production of Sweeney Todd, earning a Drama Desk Award nomination for her performance as Mrs. Lovett.
