In Gemini, a self-proclaimed "moderate fascist dictator" propagates his philosophies to his army that has now come to power. Joe, however, is in an insane asylum, and his army are a group of the institutionalized patients. Manning draws parallels to the modern world in this comical presentation.

David Kennedy directs the production that features Kenneth Wilson Harrington. Playwright-director-actor Manning has coincidentally won the Gemini award (the Canadian equivalent to an Emmy) twice.

(This production is not to be confused with another play titled Gemini by Albert Innaurato that opened on Broadway in 1977 and ran for four years. It was also revived Off-Broadway in 1999.)
