Fly has music by Tony-winning In the Heights orchestrator/arranger Bill Sherman and choreography by Tony winner Andy Blankenbuehler (In the Heights).

Playwright Rajiv Joseph (Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo), who wrote lyrics with Kirsten Childs (The Bubbly Black Girl), penned the new adaptation, which brings the story to an adult level.

Director Seller is the Tony Award-winning producer of In the Heights, Rent and Avenue Q.

"There's a version of Peter Pan that's in my head that sounds different, looks different, and feels different than any I've seen before," Seller said in a previous statement. "The drum is the heartbeat of the island. The aural landscape is driven by rhythm and percussion. We try to use only instruments that could be handmade on an island – drums, strings and the like."

Fly began performances July 2 for a run through Aug. 18.  The 30-person cast includes Bradley Dean (Spamalot, Evita) as Captain Hook, with child actors Isabela Moner (Evita) and Grant Venable as Wendy and Peter Pan, respectively.

Also featured are Marcy Harriell (In the Heights) as Mami Wata, Austin Karkowsky as John, Morgan Weed as Tink, with Hassan El-Amin, Chamblee Ferguson, Jacob Barnes, Hettie Barnhill, Tracee Beazer, Mallory Bechtel, Jace Duncan, Benjamin Errig, Campbell Walker Fields, Kayah Franklin, Brian Gonzales, Paula Green, Sasha Hollinger, Stephanie Klemons, Eddie Korbich, Denis Lambert, Jenny Laroche, Randy Pearlman, Victoria Pence, Sam Poon, Patrick Richwood, Lauren Santana, Jake Siegfried, Tanairi Vazquez and Kyra Wharton.

Here's how it's billed: "In Fly, Wendy and John take off to Neverland with Peter to find their brother Michael. The trio gets separated before their arrival and their exciting and danger-filled adventures lead to the unexpected. Packed with soaring flying expeditions, sword fights with pirates, stunning choreography and spectacular drum beats, Fly is a thrilling theatrical journey meant for adults and kids. Hidden in the excitement are questions about what it means to grow up and the beauty of embracing the natural course of life. To tell the story, Seller cast children to portray Peter, Wendy, John and the Lost Boys."

The creative team includes aerial designer Pichon Baldinu, scenic designer Anna Louizos, music supervisor Alex Lacamoire, costume designer Marina Draghici, lighting designer Howell Binkley, sound designer Nevin Steinberg, fight director Ron Piretti and percussion supervisor Tim Keiper.
